To help protect your personal devices and information, or credit and identity*, Norton will ask you some questions. These questions are directly related to information the service will help protect and/or will be used to verify your identity.
Some of these questions may catch you off guard, but Norton captures this information safely and securely and will only use it to provide the service.
Norton may ask you for the following:
Social Insurance Number (SIN)
Questions related to your credit profile that are used to verify your identity
You will also have the option of adding additional information if you would like to help protect your credit cards or personal banking.
*If your plan includes credit reports, scores, and/or credit monitoring features ("Credit Features"), two requirements must be met to receive said features: (i) your identity must be successfully verified with TransUnion; and (ii) TransUnion and/or Equifax must be able to locate your credit file that contains sufficient credit history information. If these requirements are not met you will not receive credit features from the bureaus. You will receive Credit Features once the verification process is successfully completed. Any credit monitoring will take several days to begin after your successful plan enrollment.
