Set up and manage your Doorbell Camera
Configure and manage your doorbell camera via the SmartHome mobile app or web portal
Manage your Doorbell Camera from the mobile app
Log in to your TELUS SmartHome app
Select Menu
Scroll down and select Doorbell Camera
Select Settings in the top right-hand corner to pull up the options for your doorbell. Here, you can:
- Rename your doorbell
- Set up doorbell call notifications
- Create or modify a Doorbell recording schedule
- Adjust your Doorbell Camera’s Motion Sensitivity and Detection mode
- Change LED colours
- Change chime settings and volume
Note: The Settings page may look slightly different on an iOS mobile phone.
Manage your Doorbell Camera through the web portal
- Log in to the web portal
- Select Video
- Select Settings
- Using the Video Device dropdown menu, select the desired camera
- Select Video Device Info
- Scroll to the bottom under Chime Settings. Here, you can:
- Rename your doorbell
- Modify Video Resolution & Quality
- Modify chime settings and volume
- Modify notification to panel configurations
- Modify LED brightness and colour
- Adjust your Doorbell Camera’s Motion Sensitivity and Detection mode
Important: The doorbell camera's motion detection range is 8 feet at the highest sensitivity and incrementally lower on lower settings.
