Set up and manage pre-authorized payments
Learn how to set up and manage pre-authorized payments on your My TELUS account so that you never have to worry about paying your bill on time.

Please note that this is an online-only task that can easily be done using either My TELUS online or the app.
Online payments
You can set up pre-authorized payments using your chequing account, Visa debit or by credit card. Follow these directions:
- Log in to My TELUS. If you don’t have an account, register for one now
- If you have multiple accounts, select the one for which you’d like to set up pre-authorized payments
- Select Set up pre-authorized payments
- Complete and submit the online form
Note: If you set up pre-authorized payments on the due date for your bill, you also need to make a one-time payment to avoid any late charges. Your next bill will be paid automatically.
Mobile payments
You can also set up (or update) pre-authorized payments from the Billing screen in the My TELUS app.
Update, change or cancel your payments
You can update or cancel pre-authorized payments online or through the My TELUS app at any time.
- Log in to My TELUS. If you don’t have an account, register for one now
- If you have multiple accounts, select the one for which you’d like to manage your payments
- Select Set up pre-authorized payments
- Complete and submit the online form
