What is the kit fee?
A $100 kit fee is charged on all TELUS SmartHome Security self-install orders and will be added to your first bill.
This fee covers the accout activation, shipping and handling of your equipment and is 100% refundable when you activate your services within 30 days of order.
How can I get the kit fee refunded?
The kit fee is 100% refundable when you fully install and activate your service within 30 days of order. A complete activation includes installation of automation and security devices, app installation and a walk-test where required.
Once your service is activated, you will be notified by email within 5 business days that the kit fee has been automatically refunded to your bill.
