Reset Personal Identification Number (PIN)

Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) were implemented as a security measure and provide an easy way to verify customer identity when calling the Contact Centre.

Please note that this is an online-only task that can easily be done using either My TELUS online or the app.

How to reset PIN

  1. Log in to My TELUS
  2. Select the My Profile tab at the top of the page
  1. If you have multiple accounts with TELUS, select the desired account
  2. Select Forgot your PIN?
  1. Select a method of verification to receive the 6-digit verification code on the selected method of contact:
    • Email
    • Phone numbers used in the account to receive call or SMS
  1. Enter the 6-digit verification code
  2. Select the new PIN. Please do not select a weak PIN. Repetitive PINs such as 000 or sequential PINs such as 1234 are not accepted
  3. Enter the new PIN again to confirm
  4. Select Submit
  5. Confirmation page will display

Some examples of a weak PIN: Last 4 digits of your phone number, date of birth.
