Once Outbound Calling Name Display is active on your account, the TELUS network will share your name with the people you are calling. However, the recipient device and network must also support Calling Name Display for your name to be received. If not, the characters of your name may be changed or not shown at all in some cases.
Also, it is important to remember that VoLTE is required for Outbound Calling Name Display to work. If VoLTE has been turned off on your device or has not been added to your account then your name will not be sent when making calls.
