TELUS Mobility Referral Program Terms and Conditions

Your privacy

All information collected by the Refer a Friend form will be used for the purposes of the Refer a Friend Program only. Your privacy is important to TELUS. We have a long-standing policy of protecting the privacy of our customers in all of our business operations. Please visit telus.com/privacy for more information on the principles that govern the collection, use and disclosure of personal information. These principles reflect our continuing commitment to protecting our customers' privacy.

Further to the completion of the Refer a Friend form by the person referred, the person who made the referral will be able to view the referred person’s first name and the first letter of their last name and the status of this referral, including pending claim date and confirmed claim date.

The Refer a Friend Program adheres to all standards of
TELUS Privacy Policy
, which is incorporated herein by reference.

Terms and Conditions

The Referrer and Referee must accept these terms and conditions to participate in the Refer a Friend Program (the “Program”):

  • TELUS may end the Program or change any of the terms at any time, without notice and without obligation to award any referral credits.

  • In order to be eligible to participate in the Refer a Friend Program as a referrer (“Referrer”), you must be a current TELUS Mobility customer (unlimited data plan or Voice plan) and your postpaid consumer account must be in good standing. EPP plans can be selected if the Referee meets the eligibility criteria and complies with applicable EPP terms and conditions. Eligibility can be determined

    . Business accounts are not eligible to participate in this Program.

  • The referrer and referee must each subscribe to an in-market unlimited data plan or Voice plan with TELUS Mobility.

  • TELUS team members, contractors, sales representatives acting on TELUS's behalf and associates at retail locations that sell TELUS products are not eligible to participate in this Program.

  • Referrers can only refer family members or friends; who are not current TELUS Mobility customers. Referrers cannot refer themselves or others on the same postpaid consumer account.

  • “Referee” means the person who receives a referral offer from an existing TELUS Mobility customer in the context of the Program.

  • The final determination of the eligibility of the Referrer and Referee to participate in the Program is at TELUS’ sole discretion. TELUS has no obligation to contact the Referrer nor the Referee if TELUS determines that either one or both of them are not eligible to participate in the Program.

  • All referrals must be made using the referral platform with the Referrer’s MyTELUS credentials. Access the Program through the

  • The referral offer must be claimed before the Referee activates their TELUS postpaid consumer account and within 15 days of receiving the referral offer email.

  • For the Referee to receive the one-time bill credit, the Referee must complete the referral at telus.com/refer within 30 days after activation is complete.

  • For the Referrer to be eligible for the referral credit, they must (i) explain the Program to their family member or friend and obtain consent from each of them to use their personal information for the purpose of sending them the referral and (ii) abide by these Program Terms. The Referee must provide consent to use of their personal information in order to participate in the Program.

  • Referees are not eligible if Referrer and Referee are on the same account. The referral offer applies to new consumer postpaid accounts only and not to add a line to an existing account.

  • Tablet plans, connected accessories (including smart watches, Drive+, etc.), and Wireless Home Phone activations are not eligible to participate in the Program.

  • There is no limit to the number of referral offers that a Referrer can send to friends/family. However, each Referrer will receive credit for a maximum of 6 successful referrals per calendar year, per subscriber on the account. Referees who are referred past the Referrer’s 6 referral maximum will still receive their referral reward credit.

  • The referral credit is not available for referring existing customers who are renewing their service contract with TELUS.

  • Depending on your reward, receipt may vary. Once a referral has been successfully verified and activation is confirmed, the reward process will begin:

    • Referrer - Bill credit: You can expect to receive your reward within 4-8 weeks after the Referee’s new postpaid consumer account has been successfully activated.

    • Referee - Bill credit: You can expect to receive your bill credit on your monthly statement within 1 - 2 bill cycles following successful activation.

  • Referees of the Program cannot accept more than one referral offer at a time as part of this Program. If a Referee receives multiple referral offers, a credit will be applied only to the account of the Referrer whose referral the Referee accepted through the Program.

  • You must be an active TELUS Mobility customer to receive and use your referral reward.

  • Referral credits are to be accepted as rewarded. They are not redeemable for cash, non-refundable and will not be paid out upon the termination, cancellation or closure of a TELUS Mobility account.

  • The referral credit value may vary by province (due to varying applicable sales taxes). TELUS reserves the right to adjust the credit amount applied to your bill, if the province you selected prior to sending a referral differs from the province of your billing address.

  • The Referee must keep their postpaid consumer account active for 90 days after activating. If service is terminated within 90 days of activating, the bill credits will be charged back to both their account and the account of their Referrer.

  • TELUS assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed, damaged or misdirected referrals or communications or for any failure of the website, for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or referral to be received by TELUS on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to your (or any other person's) computer related to or resulting from this Refer a Friend Program. TELUS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, cancel or suspend this Program should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of TELUS, corrupt the security or proper administration of the Program or for any other reason. Referrals are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, unintelligible, falsified, altered or tampered with or unlawful in any way. Referrals submitted by unauthorized means will be disqualified. In the event that it has been determined that a referral has been made in a manner not sanctioned by these terms, you and all of your referrals will be disqualified from this Program and any Refer a Friend credits that have been awarded will be deducted. You agree to abide by the terms of this Refer a Friend Program and the decisions of the TELUS team, which are final. This Refer a Friend Program is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Credit provided is discretionary and includes applicable taxes (based on the taxes levied in the province of supply) therefore the value displayed on your bill is the value before tax.

Welcome Spring Referral Contest

HOW TO ENTER & ELIGIBILITY

No Purchase Necessary. This contest is open to select TELUS customers only who receive a campaign contest MMS from TELUS. Eligible entrants (“Referrer”) who successfully refer a friend and/or family member (“Referee”) and who (“Referee”) successfully activates a TELUS postpaid mobility account, will be automatically entered into a contest for a chance to win a $1,000 gift card. Each successful referral counts as one (1) entry into the contest.

To participate, entrants must:

(i) Visit

and (ii) Click on the “Refer a friend now” icon and complete the refer-a-friend details (the “Referral”).

In order for an Entry to be considered “successful”, the submitted friend/family member referral must activate their new postpaid mobility account, during the contest period, using the unique email link provided to you during the online refer-a-friend process. Contest runs April 15 to May 31, 2025.

This contest is exclusively for select TELUS postpaid customers who received the contest MMS. To be eligible, you must be a Canadian resident 18 years of age or older. Contest not open to employees of TELUS Corporation (“TELUS”), its affiliated companies or subsidiaries, its sales agents, its advertising and promotional agencies, and members with whom they are domiciled.

TELUS Internal sales associates are not eligible to receive a prize.

THE PRIZE

There will be two (2) winners in total. Each winner will receive the following prize:

  • One (1) $1,000 Amazon gift card

Prize(s) must be accepted as awarded and with no substitutions, is/are not transferable unless set out in the Contest Rules and cannot be exchanged with TELUS for cash. If Prize awarded is a mobile device or tablet, Prize does not include activation and all activations are subject to a credit check and the TELUS Service Terms (
telus.com/serviceterms
). TELUS reserves the right to substitute any portion of the Prize with a Prize of equivalent value if such prize becomes unavailable for any reason. The chances of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.

THE DRAW

A random draw for all Prizes will take place at the TELUS office located at 25 York St, Toronto, ON M5J 2V5, on or about the week of July 14, 2025 by a TELUS representative. Selected entrants will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail. No telephone contact or correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrant. If the selected entrant cannot be reached within four (4) business days, or if the selected entrant does not meet any of the contest requirements, another entrant will be selected from the remaining eligible entries.

In order to win, the selected entrant must correctly answer unaided a mathematical skill-testing question and will be required to sign a standard release form. If the selected entrant is under the age of majority in his/her province of residence, his/her parent or legal guardian must read and accept these Contest Rules. Failure to answer the skill-testing question correctly, comply with the Contest Rules or sign and return the release form within seven (7) days of receipt will result in disqualification and another entry will be selected until the Prize is awarded.

PRIVACY

By entering the contest, entrants consent to the use of their names, city of residence, photograph, voice and/or image for publicity purposes in all media used by TELUS, without payment or compensation. Entrants agree to TELUS’ use of the entrants’ personal information that may include contacting you regarding limited time offers, promotional offers and/or surveys. OTHER

All entries become the property of TELUS. TELUS assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged entries. TELUS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, cancel or suspend this contest without prior notice. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with or unlawful in any way. Entries submitted by unauthorized means will be disqualified. In the event that it has been determined that an entry has been made in an manner not sanctioned by these rules and/or an entrant has submitted more than the number of entries permitted by these rules, the entrant and all of his/her entries will be disqualified. Entrants agree to abide by the contest rules and the decisions of the contest judges, which are final. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.

All entrants that are customers of TELUS at the time of entry and/or at the time of Prize award must have their TELUS accounts in good standing (with a current account balance that is no more than 30 days past due) in order to be eligible to win the Prize.
