TELUS Health MyPet March 2025 update: FAQ for vet technician services

We're transitioning to a new app to improve overall pet care management. Our clients have expressed a desire for greater accessibility, simplified appointment processes and easier navigation of pet health information. This new app responds to these needs by expanding device compatibility to tablets, streamlining the appointment process with direct calls from veterinary experts and introducing the feature for better organization of consultation notes.

By making these improvements, we aim to save you time, reduce stress in managing your pet's health and ultimately provide a more efficient and user-friendly experience for all pet owners using our service.

In this update, we've expanded the MyPet app to Apple and Android tablets, giving you more flexibility to access virtual pet care. The virtual appointment process is now simpler: your vet technician will call you directly at the scheduled time. We've also refreshed the interface and introduced , a feature that organizes consultation notes by topic for easier review of past appointments.

The app will update automatically when you launch MyPet on your device. Your existing username, password and pet information will transfer to the updated version. However, previous consultation notes will not be transferred to the new app.

No, your existing future bookings will not appear once you've updated the app. Our support team will proactively contact you to assist with rescheduling your appointments in the updated app.

Your pet's profile information will transfer to the new app when you log in with your existing TELUS Health MyPet credentials, but your pet's previous consultation notes will not be transferred.
