How long does it take to charge the battery?
The Pendant has a built-in battery that does not require recharging.
The battery life lasts for approximately: Three years (without fall detection).
The battery is low if the pendant flashes red: The user must call TELUS for a battery replacement.
The base station must be plugged in at all times: In the event of a power outage, the base unit will use its backup battery for up to 24 hours. User should plug it back in immediately once the power is back on.
What options are available for wearing my LivingWell Companion Home pendant?
The LivingWell Companion Home pendant can be worn as either a pendant around the neck or using the wristband attachment. You will receive one pendant with a lanyard, along with the wrist band accessories that can be easily changed.
