Poor video quality
If you are experiencing poor video quality on your TV (pixelization, flickering screen, black screen, etc.), follow the steps below:
Ensure all connections to the Satellite TV receiver and any loose connections are secured.
Try a different input port on your TV for the HDMI or AV cable. Then change the source to the new port (i.e. HDMI 1 to HDMI 2).
If you notice any damage to your HDMI/AV cable, swap it out for a new HDMI/AV cable.
Push the power button in the top-left of the front of the Satellite TV receiver. Hold it down for 15 to 20 seconds to restart the box, and check for video quality once the box turns back on.
If the problem persists, disconnect the Satellite TV receiver and re-install it at a different location.
Restart your Satellite TV receiver, and check for video quality.
If the problem persists, check connections for damages.
