How to manage or change your ten Favourite Numbers using My Account

With our Favourite Numbers feature you can choose up to 10 Canadian phone numbers on any network to which you can make or receive unlimited calls and text messages.

Manage your Favourite Numbers

  1. Log in to your TELUS account. Register if you don't have one
  2. Select Mobility plans & devices and select Favourite numbers
  3. Add or make changes to your current numbers

Note: The following cannot be selected as Favourite Numbers:

  • Your TELUS mobile number
  • Your voice mail retrieval number
  • Toll-free numbers
  • 1-900 numbers
  • Canadian long-distance numbers, unless your Favourite Numbers service is Nationwide

Favourite Numbers and your account

  • When you add phone numbers to an empty Favourite Numbers list the new list is effective immediately
  • If you modify an existing Favourite Numbers list the new list becomes effective within 24 hours
  • If you have already modified an existing Favourite Numbers list during your billing cycle, further modifications will go into effect at the start of your next billing cycle

To check when your previous changes took effect:

  1. Log in
  2. Select the Usage tab
  3. Select Transaction history

Your favourite number list changes and effective dates will display.
