Problem with your credit check?
Here are the alternative ways to get approved for a TELUS Mobility plan with bad or no credit.
Option 1. Apply for our Credit Limit Program
Depending on the results of your credit check, you may be eligible for the Credit Limit Program. This program gives you a credit limit of $250, which allows you to use your device as usual as long as your total account balance remains under your credit limit.
Your total balance includes your unpaid bill and all overage charges to date, such as long distance calls, data and minutes or texts over your rate plan allotment. When your monthly charges are billed, they are applied against your credit limit.
To help you manage your account, you will receive a free text message reminder on your mobile device when you reach 70% and/or 85% of your credit limit.
Option 2. Sign up for a TELUS Prepaid plan
One of the easiest ways to get a Mobility plan without worrying about your credit is buying a prepaid plan. Just like prepaid cards, the TELUS Prepaid phone plan lets you pay your monthly services fee in advance. Since you'll pay in advance for voice, text and data services, there's no need for a credit check. Even if you have bad credit or no credit history, you are still eligible for a prepaid plan.
All rate plans include Canadian and international messaging, Voicemail 3, TELUS Call Display+, call waiting and conference calling. Get started with TELUS Prepaid.
