The Device Balance Adjustment is calculated by subtracting the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) at the time of your agreement effective date from the full retail price, which makes up the total Device Balance Adjustment.
Your Device Balance Adjustment will be reduced equally over a 24- month period until it reaches $0. If you cancel or upgrade early before your Device Balance Adjustment reaches $0, you will receive the amount remaining as an adjustment on your bill.
For example, if you purchase an iPhone 14 Plus 128 GB at a retail price of $1,285 and the MSRP is listed at $1,249, your total Device Balance Adjustment will be $36 ($1,285 - $1,249). The Device Balance Adjustment will be reduced by $1.50 equally over 24 months ($36/24 months) until the balance reaches $0 at month 24.
Note
: We use the MSRP listed on the original equipment manufacturer’s (OEMs) Canadian website at the time your agreement started.
