Crunchyroll on TELUS Subscription Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your Crunchyroll, LLC (“Crunchyroll”) premium subscription with TELUS.
The Crunchyroll service is operated by Crunchyroll, LLC, a Sony Pictures Entertainment company. Crunchyroll is a trademark of Crunchyroll, LLC registered in the United States and other countries and regions.
Crunchyroll is a video subscription service that allows subscribers to stream anime, manga, and drama content on compatible devices via the Crunchyroll app or the crunchyroll.com website. Visit crunchyroll.com to see membership benefits, programming availability and regular pricing, all of which are subject to change without notice.
Your use of Crunchyroll is subject to the Crunchyroll Terms of Service, available at , which is an agreement between you and Crunchyroll, LLC. Please ensure you read and understand that agreement before subscribing to Crunchyroll through TELUS. Additionally, you acknowledge that your use of the Crunchyroll service is subject to the Crunchyroll Privacy Policy, available at . By purchasing a Crunchyroll premium subscription through TELUS, you agree and acknowledge that Crunchyroll will collect and use your limited customer personal information regarding your account, including a unique customer identifier and information about the plan you purchased from TELUS.

Minimum Requirements
:To use Crunchyroll through TELUS, you must have a compatible device in accordance with the Crunchyroll Terms of Service. You must set up a My TELUS account in order to subscribe and manage your Crunchyroll subscription through TELUS. Crunchyroll is offered as a standalone subscription for existing TELUS customers in Canada. You must be a Canadian resident and at least 18 years of age or the age of majority in your province or territory to subscribe to Crunchyroll through TELUS. Compatible products and services are required. Playback quality will depend on hardware and internet connection. Existing free Crunchyroll subscription or new subscription activation through TELUS is required.
Activation
:Once you sign up for a Crunchyroll subscription through MyTELUS, you will receive an activation email from TELUS prompting you to activate your subscription with Crunchyroll. The steps to activate your subscription are outlined below:
- A link in the email will take you to MyTELUS, where you must log in using your existing TELUS credentials. If there is a delay in receiving the email, you can also activate Crunchyroll by navigating directly to the “Subscriptions”section on MyTELUS.
- On the “Subscriptions” page where you will see your Crunchyroll subscription listed. You will need to click “Activate Subscriptions”. You will be taken to the Crunchyroll site to complete your activation by creating a new account. a. If you DO NOT have an existing Crunchyroll account, you must create a new account. b. If you DO have an existing free account with Crunchyroll, you can use that account to upgrade to the premium service paid through your TELUS bill. c. If you DO have an existing premium Crunchyroll account, you can create a new account and associate it with your TELUS service, but your history and profiles will not carry over. If you prefer your existing account you must cancel your existing premium Crunchyroll subscription through Crunchyroll and wait for your current billing cycle to end before activating Crunchyroll through TELUS to avoid being double-billed and keep your watch history and preferences.

You will be charged the applicable price plus applicable tax (less any applicable discount) each month to the credit card that you added on your My TELUS account until the cancellation effective date, if any. New Crunchyroll premium subscription activation is required. Your subscription will automatically renew, and you will be charged every succeeding month until you cancel your Crunchyroll subscription through your My TELUS account in accordance with the “Cancellation” section below. Kindly note that no bill will be sent to you; monthly charges can be viewed on My TELUS account.
Please note, your monthly subscription for your Crunchyroll premium subscription is managed by TELUS. You cannot manage your subscription directly through Crunchyroll.
Any additional purchase you may make through the Crunchyroll service will be made through the Crunchyroll app with Crunchyroll directly and will not be billed through your My TELUS account. You are solely responsible to manage any related fees with Crunchyroll directly and TELUS disclaim all liability in this respect. For additional information, including details on billing and changes, please refer to the , which is part of your agreement with TELUS.

Pre-Existing Subscription
If you have a pre-existing premium subscription to Crunchyroll directly with Crunchyroll and want to pay through TELUS instead, prior to signing up with TELUS, you will need to cancel your existing Crunchyroll subscription and let it end before activating with TELUS to avoid being double-billed. If you do not cancel your pre-existing premium subscription to Crunchyroll, you will be double-billed until such time you cancel either your subscription through TELUS or Crunchyroll.
After you have logged into My TELUS using your new or existing credentials, you can use the Subscriptions page to activate Crunchyroll using the “activate” button. Upon clicking the activation button, you will be able to complete activation by linking your existing account. If you cancel your premium subscription directly through Crunchyroll, you will no longer be able to manage your account status with Crunchyroll. All future payments are managed by TELUS. Cancellation
: You will be able to cancel your Crunchyroll subscription with TELUS at any time through your My TELUS account. Upon cancellation, your subscription will stay active until the end of your billing period. TELUS may also cancel your Crunchyroll subscription, at our sole discretion without notice to you, if we suspect any fraudulent activity, misuse of your subscription, or violation of these terms, the , or any applicable law by you. No refund will be given in case of revocation.

Please note if you’re a Quebec subscriber, you’ll be able to cancel immediately and will receive a prorated credit.
