Sign in to My TELUS before you begin your upgrade for the best experience.

You can get any device for $0 upfront plus tax with TELUS Easy Payment® and spread the cost over 24 months. You can also enroll in Bring-It-Back™ for more savings. Learn more in the section below.

If you choose to trade in your current device, you can get a bill credit on your next bill. If you have a Bring-It-Back device, you can start the return process during your online upgrade.

Check device balance and term end date
Your TELUS Easy Payment balance is the remaining balance to pay off the cost of your device over 24 equal monthly payments. At the end of your 24-month service term, the Device Balance is $0.
You can check your device balance and term end date on My TELUS online and the My TELUS app. You can also see your Device Balance on your monthly bill.
If you choose to upgrade before your term end date, you will need to pay the remaining balances owing on your device.

Device payment options
TELUS Easy Payment
The TELUS Easy Payment program allows you to spread the cost of your device over 24 months. Your TELUS Easy Payment is the amount you pay each month that goes towards paying back the pre-tax balance of your device cost. The payment options you have are:
- Zero Upfront TELUS Easy Payment (pay $0 upfront and all on your monthly bill over a 24-month term)
- Low Monthly TELUS Easy Payment (pay more upfront and less on your monthly bill over a 24-month term)
You can save even more with Bring-It-Back.
- Pay the lowest monthly price: You can have a device from $0 upfront and pay a low monthly price on your device.
- Easy, affordable upgrades: At the end of your plan, you can return your old device and upgrade to the latest model with another upfront or monthly saving.
- Flexible options: If you want to keep your device at the end of your plan, you can repay the original Bring-It-Back program amount.

Options for your old phone
TELUS Family Discount
With TELUS Family Discount, pass your old phone to a loved one and save $15 or more a month.
Once you receive your new phone, take advantage of the TELUS family discount by adding a new subscriber, who will use your old phone, to your account. Selectto add the subscriber that will use your old phone.

Trade-In or Bring-It-Back Return
If you own your device outright, you can choose to trade-in your device. You will get the trade-in value of your device as a bill credit.
If you have a Bring-It-Back amount owing and you want to return your device, select the Bring-It-Back Return option during the online upgrade process.

Note: If you’ve selected to Reserve & Pick Up your new device, you will need to return or trade-in your device in-store. You can do this when you go to pick up your new device.
Return your Bring-It-Back device online
During the online upgrade process, you will be asked whether you want to return or keep your Bring-It-Back device.
If you want to return your device, follow the instructions to enter your information into the device estimator tool.
Once you’ve purchased your new device, we’ll email you a return label. To prepare your device for shipment, make sure it's in good working condition, back up and save your personal information and restore it to its factory settings.

Note: If you’ve selected to Reserve & Pick Up your new device, you will need to return your Bring-It-Back device in-store. You can do this when you go to pick up your new device.
Upgrade multiple subscribers
You can complete online upgrades for all subscribers on your account.
Note: You must complete 1 online upgrade transaction at a time.
To begin an online upgrade, select the subscriber that you would like to upgrade. Then follow the steps to complete the online upgrade and finish checking out. Repeat the process for additional subscribers.
View your offers
If the subscriber you are upgrading qualifies for an offer, it will be automatically applied at checkout.

If there are multiple subscribers on your account, check to see which subscriber is eligible for the offer. Check the terms and conditions to view important details about offer redemption.

Getting your new device
At the final step of the online upgrade process, you’ll be able to choose how you would like to receive your new device. You can choose to have your new device shipped to you or you can use our Reserve Online and Pick Up In-Store service.
Shipped to you:
When you upgrade online, your device will be shipped to your home for free. Most orders ship within 3-5 days.
Your order number can be found in the order confirmation email you received upon placing your order or the shipping confirmation email you received when your order shipped. Once you have your order number, visit ourpage to check the status.
Note: Please don’t forget to check your junk mail if you can’t find the order confirmation email in your regular inbox.
Reserve Online and Pick Up In-Store:
If you want to pick up your device at a TELUS store, use our Reserve and Pick Up service. With Reserve & Pick Up, you can get the device you want today at one of our TELUS Stores by placing a reservation. You will complete your upgrade in-store once you pick up your new device. A one-time $50-connection fee applies to all pick-ups.
