Why is it important to cancel false alarms?
False alarms involve reporting a non-existent emergency, leading to unnecessary deployment of emergency services. This not only wastes time for both you and the authorities, but also hampers their ability to respond to real emergencies.
: False alarms may lead to a charge of false alarm fees by your municipality.
How can Guard Response help you avoid false intrusion alarms?
Guard Response is a service that offers an added level of security by assisting in the verification of intrusion alarms when you are unable to do so. Whether you find yourself alone at home, unable to respond or away from your residence, a uniformed Guard can be dispatched to your location to verify the intrusion alarm on your behalf.
This service works in close collaboration with the monitoring station, where the Guard will assess the situation and determine whether authorities need to be dispatched or confirm that the alarm is false. With Guard Response, you can effectively avoid potential high false alarm fees that are often imposed by many municipalities.
