If you’d like to expand your TELUS SmartHome system with more devices and functionality, visit the SmartHome website.

Add-on devices must be purchased through TELUS

The SmartHome system will only work with devices purchased from TELUS. Devices purchased from other sources will not work, because their firmware will be different.

The main reason is for enhanced security, i.e. to ensure all devices which communicate with your SmartHome system are validated.

In addition, allowing only TELUS-purchased devices to work with existing SmartHome systems ensures all devices integrate seamlessly, offering the best customer experience.
