The Sensi Touch 2 only works with HVAC systems controlled by low voltage thermostats. It will not work with HVAC systems controlled by high voltage thermostats.

Check the compatibility of this thermostat on the manufacturer’s website.

Examples: Furnace heating, forced air, ducted heat pumps, and boilers.

Voltage rating on the thermostat may show 12v or 24v.

You will see lots of small, thinner multi-coloured wires under the thermostat cover.

High voltage systems:
Generally multiple thermostats in the home, with potentially even multiple per room, and powered entirely by electricity.

Examples: Baseboard heaters, fan-forced heaters, in-ceiling radiant heat, and electric in-floor heating. Will have a warning label or show the voltage rating 120v - 240v.

You will see a smaller number of thicker wires under the cover separated into coloured groups (e.g. black and red or black and white) or the wires are stranded.

The Sensi Touch 2 thermostat does work with smart room sensors however the sensors do not currently work with the SH+ app (to be added at a future date).

If you have a low voltage system but there is no c-wire, you may need to have a c-wire installed. Please consult a professional electrician.
