A smarter way to lock up

You can find instructions for self-installation of the smart device included in the smart device package.  To pair the device with the SmartHome+ app, open the app and follow the guided instructions. In select locations, you can also book professional installation for a flat fee.

Also, please check your building's bylaws before installation as some properties have specific restrictions on door lock modifications.

Note: If you have a Weiser Home Connect 620 lock, you may be prompted to enter a 5 digit PIN. See below for the location of this PIN on the back of your lock.

A: To begin, remove the battery pack from the interior of the lock and insert the batteries with the correct polarity. For best results, only use new, non-rechargeable alkaline batteries.

B: Insert the battery pack back into the interior of the lock. You will hear a beep and see a red or orange light. When the light disappears, your lock is ready to be connected to the Control Panel. The lock must stay stationary for a total of 60 seconds during the connection process.

Note: The lock will auto-hand again after the first time the door is locked or unlocked using the keypad or app. This is to confirm the door orientation.

Schedule installation: After your purchase, log into your My TELUS account. There, you can schedule an installation appointment. You’ll find out if your address is eligible during this process.
