- Devices purchased on the Bring-It-Back program must be returned in good working condition or you will be responsible for the difference between the Bring-It-Back program amount and the lower trade-in value for a device that is not in good working condition. Trade-in standards published at the time a device is returned will apply. Applicable sales taxes are due at time of purchase on the full purchase price. You will not be charged tax on the Bring-It-Back Program Amount if you choose to keep your device and pay back the Bring-It-Back Program Amount at, or before, the end of the 24 month term. Bring-It-Back program is only available while you subscribe to mobility service. If mobility service is cancelled before the end of the term, the Bring-It-Back Program Amount will be charged to your TELUS bill.
- Applies to regular price of all TELUS SmartHome Security (“SHS”) plans excluding Smart Camera. SHS plans require either a 3-year or 5-year term, except Smart Camera and Smart Automation Plus plans, which only qualify for a 3-year term. Available to existing TELUS or Koodo Mobility post-paid consumer customers who have not subscribed to SHS services in the past 90 days. Customers with an active consumer TELUS or Koodo Mobility post-paid account will receive a discount of $10/month for the duration of the term. Discounts, promotions, benefits and credits are earned for each full month of service and do not apply to partial billing periods. Minimum system requirements apply. Equipment may not be as shown. Final eligibility for the services will be determined by a licensed and certified TELUS technician. A cancellation fee applies for early termination of the 3-year or 5-year service agreement equal to $5/month for the HomeView and Smart Automation Plus plans, and $15/month for the Secure and Control plans, multiplied by the number of months remaining in the service agreement (with a partial month counting as a full month), plus applicable taxes. Rental equipment must be returned in good condition upon cancellation of service, otherwise the replacement cost will be charged to the account. Professional installation fee of $200 applies for all professionally installed plans for customers who subscribe to consumer post-paid plans on TELUS or Koodo and/or High Speed Internet. Additional installation fees may apply for extra equipment. A $100 kit fee is charged on self-install orders and is 100% refundable when service is activated within 30 days of order. This includes installation of automation and security devices, app installation and a walk-test where required. Once your service is activated you will be notified by email within 5 business days that the kit fee has been automatically refunded to your bill.
- Customers who sign up for Control Video + Video on a 3 or 5 year service agreement, are eligible to receive up to $1300 in rental equipment. Included equipment is provided to TELUS SmartHome Security customers as part of the recurring monthly fee. Rental equipment must be returned in good condition upon cancellation of service, otherwise the replacement cost will be charged to the account. Purchased or rental equipment can be repaired or replaced with parts or equipment that are not original equipment manufacturer, refurbished or new, at our sole discretion.
