What happens after I order PureFibre Internet?

Once you complete your order, we'll confirm your details and reach out to schedule your professional installation. The installation is on us. A TELUS technician will connect your home to the fibre network. We'll keep you updated through the steps.

How long until I'm connected?

If your home already has a fibre connection in place, your service will be connected and active within 30 days of ordering. If your home still needs a fibre connection installed, we'll help complete that within 2–3 weeks at no additional cost to you. Your service will then be active within 45 days total.

What if my home isn't connected to the fibre network yet?

No problem — we'll help take care of it as part of your order at no additional cost. We'll help run a fibre connection from the street to the exterior of your home, usually within 2–3 weeks. A site survey may be required if the connection needs to be buried on your property. Once it's in place, we'll be in touch to activate your service.

How does the 5-Year Plan Price Lock (the “Lock”) work?

When you sign up for a 2-year term on an eligible PureFibre Internet plan, the Lock applies to the monthly regular price, before any applicable taxes, other government imposed fees, discounts, promotions and bill credits, for 5 years starting from the time of eligible plan activation. That means no rate increases on the plan price for 3 years after your initial term ends. Note that prices for add-ons, features, and pay-per-use charges are not guaranteed during the Lock period and are subject to change. After the Lock period, pricing is subject to change. The Lock may be removed upon internet plan change or renewal or if you no longer meet the eligibility criteria.

How do I claim my early bird bonus?

After you complete your order, we'll send you instructions for activating your chosen bonus. Timing varies depending on which bonus you select and the steps required — some activate right away, others at the time of successful installation. Make sure to complete your activation within the timeframe provided to secure your offer.

Can I bundle with my TELUS mobile plan?

Yes — and it benefits to bundle. Bundle PureFibre Internet with your TELUS postpaid mobile plan and save $10/mo. on your internet plan.

When do I get my TELUS Rewards points?

You'll receive 50,000 TELUS Rewards points once your PureFibre Internet is successfully installed and activated. You'll need an active TELUS Rewards account to earn them — visit telus.com/rewards to sign up or check your eligibility.
