Wi-Fi 7 is the latest Wi-Fi technology, based on the IEEE 802.11be standard. Wi-Fi 7 introduces groundbreaking technologies to enhance speed, combining ultra-wide 320 MHz channels with 4K-QAM data encoding. For stability, it uses Multi-Link Operation (MLO), which lets a device maintain a seamless connection by simultaneously using multiple bands to instantly bypass interference. To experience the full benefits of Wi-Fi 7, a compatible device and a corresponding high-speed internet plan are required. Actual speeds and reliability will vary based on your unique environment, including home layout, network congestion, and distance from the access point. Not available in all areas. New TELUS PureFibre customers on 1 Gig or higher plans are eligible for Wi-Fi 7. Other restrictions may apply including but not limited to availability.
