What security panels can you support?

To be eligible for the Security Monitoring Plus plan ($25/mo.), the security panels and devices must be currently active and working with another security provider.

We support taking over a variety of security systems, including Honeywell, DSC, GE Security, Caddx, NAPCO, Paradox, First Alert‌ and Resolution.

Other types of security panels may be eligible for an advanced plan.²

If you would like to add security cameras and other devices for an additional cost, you have the option to upgrade to advanced plans for comprehensive coverage and premium monitoring capabilities.²

How does installation work?

Once the compatibility assessment is complete, we will schedule your professional installation appointment at your convenience. A home security expert will determine eligibility and, if applicable, perform the equipment programming or replacement at your home. If the technician discovers any special conditions not covered in the initial assessment or you have any additional needs, the technician will advise the best actions on site based on the requirements.

Home insurance providers may offer discounts when security systems with professional monitoring are installed. Discounts may range from 5 - 20%. Check with your home insurance provider for eligibility.
Offer applies to regular price of all TELUS SmartHome Security (“SHS”) plans excluding Smart Camera. SHS plans require either a 3-year or 5-year term, except Smart Camera and Smart Automation Plus plans, which only qualify for a 3-year term. Available to existing consumer TELUS or Koodo Mobility post-paid customers who have not subscribed to SHS services in the past 90 days. Customers with an active consumer TELUS or Koodo Mobility post-paid account will receive a discount of $10/month for as long as the eligibility requirements are met or until the discount is no longer maintained. Discounts are applied on the SHS plan and TELUS reserves the right to remove mobility discounts if the customer no longer meets eligibility requirements.
