Sending an email
Apple Watch Series 4 on watchOS 7.0.0
You can send emails from your device from any email account that has already been set up on your device. An email can contain an attachment or just text.
- Step 1 of 18:
From a watch face, press the Digital Crown.
Note: You can view your apps in a list view if you prefer.
- Step 2 of 18:
Tap the Mail icon.
- Step 3 of 18:
Tap New Message.
- Step 4 of 18:
Tap Add Contact.
- Step 5 of 18:
Tap the Contacts icon.
Note: You can also choose to dictate a contact's name.
- Step 6 of 18:
Select a contact.
- Step 7 of 18:
Select the contact's email address.
- Step 8 of 18:
Tap Add Subject.
- Step 9 of 18:
Tap the Scribble icon.
Note: You can also choose to dictate a message, add emoji or select a message suggestion.
- Step 10 of 18:
Enter a subject by drawing each character one at a time.
- Step 11 of 18:
Tap Done.
- Step 12 of 18:
Tap Create Message.
- Step 13 of 18:
Tap the Scribble icon.
Note: You can also choose to dictate a message, add emoji or select a message suggestion.
- Step 14 of 18:
Compose your message by drawing each character one at a time.
- Step 15 of 18:
Tap Done.
- Step 16 of 18:
Turn the Digital Crown to scroll to Send.
- Step 17 of 18:
Tap Send.
- Step 18 of 18:
