Checking for software updates
Apple Watch Series 4 on watchOS 7.0.0
Keep your phone up to date by checking for new software regularly. A new Operating System (also known as an OS) version may have security patches and performance improvements for your device.
- Step 1 of 4:
From the Watch app main screen on iPhone, scroll to General.
- Step 2 of 4:
Tap General.
- Step 3 of 4:
Tap Software Update.
Note: If you choose to download a software update, keep your Watch on its charger until the update completes.
