Inserting and removing the micro SIM card from your OBD-II device
Drive+ app on Android, Version 3.8.12
Learn how to insert and remove a SIM card from your device. Your cellular service is activated through your SIM card; without it you cannot use cellular features. Note that a SIM card tray removal tool may be needed.
Note: Don't touch the gold contacts on your SIM card. That could damage the card. Your SIM card should activate once your device is powered.
Locate the micro SIM card tray on the left side of your device.
Note: You must have a micro SIM card inserted in your OBD-II device to connect to the Drive+ app and access your Wi-Fi hotspot.
Press the card insertion/removal tool into the micro SIM card tray pinhole and push in until the tray releases.
Slide the micro SIM card tray out of its slot.
Insert or remove the micro SIM card into or from the tray with the gold contacts facing the back of the device.
Press the micro SIM card tray back into its slot until it clicks, making sure it's secure.
