Blocking and unblocking a contact in FaceTime

When you add a number or contact to your block list, they will not be able to message, call, or FaceTime you until you unblock them.

  1. Step 1 of 11:

    From the Home screen, tap Settings.

  2. Step 2 of 11:

    Scroll to FaceTime.

    Step 2/11

  3. Step 3 of 11:

    Tap FaceTime.

    Step 3/11

  4. Step 4 of 11:

    Scroll to Blocked Contacts.

    Step 4/11

  5. Step 5 of 11:

    Tap Blocked Contacts.

    Step 5/11

  6. Step 6 of 11:

    Tap Add New.

    Step 6/11

  7. Step 7 of 11:

    Select the contact you'd like to block.

    Note: When a contact is blocked, you'll no longer receive phone calls, messages, or FaceTime from them.

  8. Step 8 of 11:

    To unblock a contact, tap Edit.

  9. Step 9 of 11:

    Tap the Minus sign.

    Step 9/11

  10. Step 10 of 11:

    Tap Unblock.

    Step 10/11

  11. Step 11 of 11:

    You've completed the steps!
