Using screen magnification

Essential Phone on Android 10.0.0

Use the magnification box to enlarge certain parts of your screen. This option can be toggled on or off in your accessibility settings.

  1. Note: Magnification enables users to temporarily enlarge content on the device's screen.

  2. Step 1 of 10:

    From the Home screen, swipe up to view your apps.

  3. Step 2 of 10:

    Tap Settings.

    Step 2/10

  4. Step 3 of 10:

    Scroll to Accessibility.

    Step 3/10

  5. Step 4 of 10:

    Tap Accessibility.

    Step 4/10

  6. Step 5 of 10:

    Tap Magnification.

    Step 5/10

  7. Step 6 of 10:

    Tap Magnify with triple-tap.

    Note: For this tutorial, we are demonstrating how to use magnification with a triple-tap. You can also use an accessiblity button but steps may vary based on what you choose.

  8. Step 7 of 10:

    Tap or slide the Use service switch to ON.

    Step 7/10

  9. Step 8 of 10:

    Quickly tap three times on a region of the screen you'd like to magnify.

  10. Step 9 of 10:

    Quickly tap the screen three times again to zoom back out.

  11. Step 10 of 10:

    You've completed the steps!
