Streaming your video camera footage from your Control Panel
Manage your video camera settings
To stream your camera footage from your main Control Panel, you will need to enable this setting first from the customer web portal. Here are the instructions:
Enabling Live View from the Web Portal
- Log in to the web portal
- Click Video
- Click Settings
- Click Stream Video to Security Panel Screen
- Under the View at the Panel column, select each camera you would like to view the live footage on the Control Panel’s screen
- Click Save
Once you enable the setting from the web portal, allow a few minutes for the settings to save to the Control Panel. Once the Control Panel receives these settings, follow these instructions below to use the Live View functionality for your cameras.
Streaming Live View on the Control Panel
- Swipe left from the Control Panel main screen to the Live Video Cameras page
- Tap the Play icon to view the live video stream from your selected camera
- For all Doorbell Cameras and Indoor Cameras that support two-way audio:
- Talk through the camera by tapping and holding the microphone icon
- Adjust the audio coming from the camera by tapping and dragging the volume slider
- End the live stream by tapping the phone icon
Additionally for the Doorbell Cameras, you can disarm the system directly through the Live Video on the Control Panel if your system is armed. To disarm the system:
- Tap the lock icon
- Tap > on where it states the current status of the security system (i.e. Arm Stay, Arm Away, or Disarmed)
- Tap Disarm
- Enter a User Code to disarm the system
If you have a Smart Door Lock, the lock can also be unlocked or locked from the Live Video on the Control Panel as well. To send a command to your Smart Door Lock:
- Tap the lock icon
- Tap > for the Smart Door Lock
- Tap Unlock if the door is currently locked, or tap Lock if the door is currently unlocked
For Outdoor Cameras, you will see a red X on the top right-hand corner of the screen to end the live video from your Control Panel.
