What is Calm?
Benefits of signing up for Calm through Optik TV
- Calm On Demand: After signing up for Calm through TELUS, you will get immediate access to hundreds of Calm On Demand titles on channel 351 on your Optik TV digital box. You can also find it on your Optik TV App under On Demand > Healthy Living > Calm - Meditate, sleep, relax
- Calm mobile app: Your Calm subscription through Optik TV also includes access to the Calm Premium subscription through their mobile app. Once you successfully set up your Calm Premium subscription, you can pay your TV service and the Calm Premium subscription through one bill and save time and money. The Calm mobile app offers thousands more assets for sleep, mediation and relaxation, such as:
- Sleep Stories: 200+ sleep-inducing bedtime tales for grown-ups which contains a soothing mix of music, sound effects and world class voice talent to help people to settle their busy mind and drift off to dreamland

How to sign up for Calm through an Optik TV service
The Calm offer is designed for new and existing Optik TV customers who do not have an active Calm Premium subscription.
New Optik TV customers can sign up for Optik TV and add Calm to their service.
Existing Optik TV customers can add Calm through their Optik TV digital box on channel 351, or by signing in to their My TELUS account, then navigate to the Optik TV tab and select Add or remove. Select the Entertainment category, then scroll down to find Calm. Do not have a My TELUS account? Register here.

1. How do I access Calm On Demand?
Calm On Demand can be found on channel 351 on your Optik TV digital box.
2. How do I access the Calm mobile app
You will need to set up your Calm Premium subscription through My TELUS, then download the Calm mobile app through the App Store or Google Play and sign in with the Calm account you created.
3. Data consumption when using Calm On Demand.
Watching Calm On Demand on your Optik TV does not count as data usage on your Internet connection.
4. I currently have a Calm Premium subscription. Can I link it to my Optik TV package?
Please refer to Set up options for customers with an existing Calm Premium subscription for more details.
5. Can I get Calm through TELUS Rewards?
If you are an eligible TELUS Rewards customer, you can redeem your Rewards points for a 3-month, 6-month or 12-month Calm Premium subscription. Please note that you will not get access to Calm On Demand through TELUS Rewards. This option is ideal for customers who do not have an Optik TV service and/or only need access to the Calm mobile app. Learn more about TELUS Rewards.
6. If I move, does this impact my Calm subscription?
No. As long as your Optik TV service continues at your new address.
7. If I downgrade or disconnect my Optik TV services, how will it impact my Calm Premium subscription?
If you downgrade your Optik TV to a package that does not include Calm, or disconnect your Optik TV service, your Calm Premium subscription will be automatically cancelled. You will be prompted in the Calm app to make a new purchase in order to access Calm Premium, or you can get more information on how to continue your Calm membership.
8. How do I remove the Calm subscription from my Optik TV package?
You can remove your Calm subscription by signing into your My TELUS account, then select the Optik TV tab at the top of the page, and select Add or remove theme pack. You will immediately lose access to the On Demand service, but will continue to have Premium Calm app access until the subscription's expiration date. Once the subscription has ended, you are able to access the free Calm content in the app.
