All my devices cannot connect to the internet (TELUS Wi-Fi Hub)

Indicator light is off on the front of the modem


Check whether your modem’s power cord is correctly plugged in. If it isn't, plug it in and the indicator light should turn green after a few minutes. If it is plugged in, try a forced restart by following the modem restart instructions on this page.

Note: The indicator light will not display a colour if it has been deactivated.

Blinking red light on the front of the modem


Your modem is currently updating or restarting. The indicator light should turn green again after a few minutes.

Red light on the front of the modem


Your modem is not connected to the network, or an error has occurred. Check whether your modem’s fiber optics cable is correctly plugged in.

Green light on the front of the modem


Your modem is connected to the Internet and working properly.

Blue/purple light beneath the cover


Your modem’s Wi-Fi is working properly. If the indicator light is purple, this means one of your modem’s radio frequencies is deactivated.

Orange light beneath the cover


The Wi-Fi network has been paused (by parental control).

Red light beneath the cover


The Wi-Fi network has been deactivated.
