Information on municipal alarm permits.

Do I require a municipal alarm permit for my alarm system?

It depends on your municipality. Several cities in Canada have local bylaws that outline specific regulations about police response, security system permit registration and false alarm fines. As an ADT customer, it is your responsibility to be familiar with the local bylaws, to complete the necessary forms and to cover any false alarm fines.
