Call Forward for your home phone automatically forwards calls to another number

Call Forward variable


Activate

  1. From your home phone, dial * 72 or #72. Listen for three beeps and then a dial tone again
  2. Dial the number to which you want your calls forwarded
  3. When that phone is answered, you will hear an intermittent dial tone confirming that call forwarding is activated

Note: If the number is busy or goes unanswered, hang up and repeat the process in 2 minutes.

Deactivate

  1. From your home phone, dial * 73 or #73
  2. Listen for 2 beeps
  3. Hang up

Call Forward to a fixed number


Activate

  1. From your home phone, dial * 72, *79 or 79#
  2. Hang up

Deactivate

  1. From your home phone, dial * 73 or 73#
  2. Hang up

Notes:

  • Once a number is set, it can only be changed by speaking to an agent. Service charges may apply
  • Long distance charges will apply if the forward-to number is long distance

Call Forward no answer


Incoming calls can be automatically forwarded to a pre-determined number when the line is unanswered. The pre-determined number is chosen when you order the service, and is programmed in by TELUS.

This function is used to forward calls to voicemail when your phone line is busy. New accounts will not be able to turn this on and off.

Activate

  1. From your home phone, dial *92
  2. Listen for 2 beeps, then hang up

Set number of rings

  1. From your home phone, dial *94
  2. Listen for 3 beeps, then a dial tone
  3. Enter the number of rings you want your callers to hear before the call is forwarded, between 2 to 9
  4. After 2 beeps, hang up

Deactivate

  1. From your home phone, dial *93
  2. Listen for 2 beeps
  3. Hang up

Call Forward busy


Incoming calls can be automatically forwarded to a pre-determined number when the line is in use. The pre-determined number is chosen when you order the service, and is programmed in by TELUS.

This function is used to forward calls to voice mail when your phone line is busy. New accounts will not be able to turn this on and off.

Activate

  1. From your home phone, dial * 90
  2. Listen for 2 beeps
  3. Hang up

Deactivate

  1. From your home phone, dial * 91
  2. Listen for 2 beeps
  3. Hang up
