Tips to ensure a smooth installation

1. Have your

   My TELUS email and password

   ready

2. If you’re connecting via Wi-Fi, have your Wi-Fi network name and password ready.

   Retrieve your login information

   if you've lost or forgotten it

3. If you purchased hardware with your Pik TV service, have the instruction manual or setup guide ready. Still waiting for your hardware to arrive? Access Pik on your mobile device or computer browser

• Apple TV

• Remote control

• HDMI cable (not included with Apple TV)

Setting up your Apple TV

1. Plug in your Apple TV by connecting the cord to the built-in power supply on your Apple TV

2. Connect one end of an HDMI cable to an HDMI port on the back of your TV. Connect the other end to the HDMI port on your Apple TV

   

3. Turn on your TV, then select the input that matches the HDMI input from step 2

4. Follow the onscreen setup instructions, and you’re ready to experience Apple TV

5. Ensure your Apple TV software is up to date

6. If you haven’t already,

   create an Apple ID

   to enjoy Apple services

Connecting your Apple TV to your home Wi-Fi

1. From the home screen, navigate to

   Settings

   using your Apple TV remote

   

2. Select

   Network

   

3. Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list

   

4. Using the touchpad or voice activation on your Apple TV remote, enter in your Wi-Fi password. Select

   Continue

   to connect to your Wi-Fi

   

5. Congratulations! Your Apple TV is now connected to your home Wi-Fi. Press the menu button on your Apple TV remote to return to the home screen

   

Setting up Pik TV on your Apple TV

1. From the home screen on your Apple TV, navigate to the App Store

   

2. In the top menu bar of the App Store, select

   Search

   

3. Using the touchpad or voice activation on your Apple TV remote, search for

   Pik TV

   

4. Select

   Get

   and you will be prompted to confirm your selection

   

5. Select

   Get

   and you will be prompted to enter in your Apple ID and password

   

6. Using the touchpad or voice activation on your Apple TV remote, sign in to the iTunes Store with your Apple ID and select

   Continue

   

7. Enter your Apple ID password and select

   OK

   and the Pik TV app will begin downloading

   

8. Once the download has completed, select

   Open

   and you will be redirected to the Pik TV home screen

   

9. Click on any channel and you will be prompted to log in using your My TELUS credentials

   

10. Select

    Login Now

    

11. You will be redirected to a login screen. Select

    Username

    

12. You may be asked if you want to use an existing email or enter a new one. Please ensure you are using your My TELUS email address. Don't have a My TELUS account?

    Register now

    

13. Using the touchpad or voice activation on your Apple TV remote, enter in your My TELUS username and select

    Next

    

14. Using the touchpad or voice activation on your Apple TV remote, enter in your My TELUS password and select

    Done

    . Forgot your My TELUS password?

    Reset your password

    and a new one will be sent to you shortly

    

15. You will be redirected to a login page. Select

    Login

    

16. You will now be redirected to the Pik TV home page. You’re all set. Watch a show that’s on now, browse the guide for upcoming episodes or search the On Demand library!

    

Set up your Pik TV mobile app

1. From the home screen of your iOS device, navigate to the App Store

   

2. In the search bar of the App Store, enter

   Pik TV

   and select

   Search

   

3. The Pik TV app will appear. Select

   Get

   

4. You will be prompted to confirm your Apple ID account. Validate your touch ID or select

   Install

   

5. Enter your Apple ID password to sign in. Your download will begin

   

6. Once the download has completed, the Pik TV app will be available on the home screen. Select

   Open

   or open the app from the home screen

   

7. Upon opening the app, you will be redirected to a login screen where you will be prompted to enter your My TELUS username and password. Don't have a My TELUS account?

   Register now

   . Select

   Remember me

   so that you don’t have to enter your username and password every time you open the Pik TV app

   

8. Select

   Login

   . You will now be redirected to the Pik TV app home page. You’re all set. Watch a show that’s on now, browse the guide for upcoming episodes or search the On Demand library!

   

Get started with Pik TV on your browser

1. Navigate to

   telus.com/watchpiktv

   . You will be redirected to a login screen where you will be prompted to enter your My TELUS username and password. Don't have a My TELUS account?

   Register now

   . Select

   Remember me

   so that you don’t have to enter your username and password every time you open the Pik TV app

   

2. Select

   Login

   . You will be redirected to the Pik TV app home page. You’re all set. Watch a show that’s on now, browse the guide for upcoming episodes or search the On Demand library!

   

3. You may need to download Flash Player to play Pik TV on your Internet browser. To download Flash, click the link on screen
