This Contest is only open to TELUS customers who are residents of British Columbia and Alberta and have reached the age of majority in the Province or territory in which they reside at the time of entry. This contest excludes employees, representatives and agents of the Sponsor and Prize Provider, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensors, associates, the Contest judges, and their respective advertising and promotional agencies, and persons domiciled with any of the above.

Only one entry per TELUS customer account accepted. Eligible entry must be received on or before the Contest Closing Date.

No other form of participation accepted. Only one emailed entry form accepted per entrant.

The odds of winning in this Contest are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.

On or about April 13, 2022, at approximately 12:00pm PT, in Vancouver, BC, one (1) entry will be drawn at random from all entries received. A representative from TELUS will contact the winner to notify them and provide them with instructions to claim the prize.

There is one (1) grand prize available to be won consisting of:

Approximate retail value of the prize is $3,000.00 CAD. Prize must be accepted as awarded and will not be substituted, transferred or redeemed for cash or otherwise. Prize Provider reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of greater or equivalent monetary value if a prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason. Prize Provider will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. Note: the Sportsnet Studio tour is based on availability of talent. Overall prize value does not include the studio tour. If the tour portion of the prize does not take place, a substitute prize will not be provided.

Any other costs or expenses associated with the prize not specified herein will be the responsibility of selected winner and guest (as applicable), including without limitation ground transportation to/from the Departure Point, meals, communication charges, room service, gratuities, optional tours, taxes, insurance and medical travel documents. Prize Provider will not be responsible if weather conditions, event cancellations, or other factors beyond Prize Provider’s reasonable control prevent the prize or part of the prize from being fulfilled, and winner will not be entitled to compensation in lieu thereof. Winner and guest must have no restrictions on his/her ability to travel or to fully participate in the prize or the prize may be forfeited, in whole or in part and may, at the Prize Provider’s discretion, be awarded to an alternate entrant. Winner and guest are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documentation and permissions and must travel on the same itinerary. Winner and guest must travel on the dates and travel carriers and stay at the accommodations as determined by Prize Provider. Additional blackout travel dates, including without limitation holidays and peak travel periods, may apply (as determined by Prize Provider in its sole discretion). Prize Provider will not be responsible if winner/guest are denied entry onto aircraft, into the Destination, or return entry into Departure Point. In such a situation, the winner/guest will be responsible for any and all additional costs incurred. Winner/guest must obey all hotel rules and requirements, including the hotel requirement to present a major credit card. Failure to follow such hotel rules and requirements may result in, without limitation, non-admission to hotel and forfeiture of all or part of the prize. In order to participate in the Prize, the selected winner’s guest must be of the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence or older. Guest will be required to sign and return a Release (as defined below).

The potentially winning entrant will be contacted by telephone or email within two (2) days of the draw from the contact information appearing on the TELUS customer account or entry form.

In order to be confirmed as a winner in this Contest, selected entrants must have complied with and remain in compliance with these Official Rules and must first correctly answer, without assistance or mechanical aid, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question and sign and return a release and acknowledgement as described below, failing which the prize will be forfeit and another entry will be selected at random in his or her place.

In order to receive the prize, the selected entrant will be required to complete, sign and return a standard declaration and release form (including publicity release) confirming understanding of and compliance with these Official Rules, acceptance of the prize as awarded, and a release of all liability in connection with this Contest or the use, misuse, awarding or possession of any prize that is satisfactory to the Sponsor and Prize Provider (the “”). If the selected entrants cannot be contacted within two (2) days of being notified, fails to correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question, does not execute and return the release form within one (1) day of receipt the Release, or does not otherwise comply with these Official Rules, that selected entrants will be disqualified, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate entry selected.

This Contest is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws. Decisions of the Sponsor, Prize Provider and Contest judges are final and binding on all entrants with respect to all aspects of the Contest. This Contest is governed by the laws of Canada and the individual Provinces in which it is conducted, as well as the local municipalities where applicable.

The Sponsor reserves the right to withdraw, modify or end this Contest at any time without prior notice. If, in the Sponsor’s sole opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the Contest, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the Contest and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all entries received as of the termination date.

All entries become the property of TELUS. TELUS assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected entries or for any failure of the Web site, for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, television equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by TELUS on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from this contest. TELUS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this contest should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of TELUS and its directors, officers, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies, divisions and subsidiaries, corrupt the security or proper administration of the contest. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, mechanically reproduced, mutilated, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way. Any information collected by TELUS will be used for the purpose of prize fulfilment only.

By entering this Contest, the winner consents to the use of their name, city of residence, photograph, likeness, comments, video footage and/or voice recordings, without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law, in any publicity or advertising in any medium now or later developed (including, without limitation, posting on-line) carried by or on behalf of Sponsor and/or their advertising agencies, affiliates or agents.

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms of these Official Rules and the terms or statements contained in any short-form Contest rules and/or advertising materials, the terms and conditions of these Official Rules will prevail, govern and control to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

By entering the contest, entrants consent to the use of their names, city of residence, photograph, voice and/or image for publicity purposes in all media used by TELUS, without payment or compensation.
