We know you’re busy so we’ve kept the process simple.

Physicians, nurse practitioners, counsellors and dietitians:

1. FAQ review
2. Complete a self-recorded clinical video interview (Includes clinical scenarios. Approximately 20 minutes)
3. Virtual meeting with a MyCare clinical leader (30 minutes)
4. If successful, an offer and contract to follow pending clear background and reference checks

Clinical operations:

1. Complete a self-recorded video interview (Approximately 20 minutes)
2. Interview with a MyCare leader (30 minutes) - currently virtual
3. If successful, an offer to follow pending clear background and reference checks

Management professionals:

1. Complete phone screen
2. Round 1 interview with MyCare team (60-90 minutes depending on the role) - currently virtual
3. Round 2 interview with MyCare leader (60-90 minutes depending on the role) - currently virtual
4. If successful, an offer to follow pending clear background and reference checks

Physicians

• For our digital service, we ask for a minimum of 8 hours per week, scheduled regularly. This can be split into two 4-hour shifts (the most popular option) and in some cases, 2 or 3 hour shifts (if scheduled regularly). We typically schedule 2 months in advance.

Nurse practitioners

• You’ll begin with a regular schedule of minimum 8 hours per week
• This can be split into two 4-hour shifts (the most popular option) and in some cases, 2 or 3 hour shifts (if scheduled regularly). We typically schedule 2 months in advance.

Experienced counsellors:

• You’ll begin with a regular schedule of minimum 6 hours. Overtime, your schedule can increase to more than 6 hours a week.
• Your hours can be split between days of the week depending on what works with your schedule. For example, someone who is working 8 hours per week can split their hours into two 4-hour shifts (the most popular option) and in some cases, 2 or 3 hour shifts (if scheduled regularly). We typically schedule 2 months in advance.

Brief therapy counsellors:

• You’ll have a regular schedule of 18 or 24 hours per week.
• These hours are broken down into 6 hour blocks, with 5 hours of session time (30 minutes each) and two 30 minute breaks. We typically schedule 2 months in advance.

Dietitians:

• You’ll begin with a regular schedule of 4 hours per week. Over time, your schedule can increase to more than 4 hours a week
• We typically schedule 2 months in advance. Our Liaison team works with you to find a mutually agreeable schedule.

For physicians, nurse practitioners and Allied Health professionals, we do not ask for a minimum commitment. We do ask that you provide us with 4 weeks' notice if you decide to stop working with TELUS Health MyCare.

Physicians, nurse practitioners, counsellors and dieticians:

• Upon signing your contract you will be provided online training modules to help you navigate the world of telemedicine, our systems and standards / policies.
• You will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn more during a training webinar hosted by the Clinical Liaison team which will be followed by a mock / practice consultation to ensure you are set up for success.

Patients access our service by downloading an app on their smartphone or tablet. Our physicians and other team members deliver care using laptops that we supply. We provide full training on our proprietary EMR.
