Mobility for Good® for low-income seniors provides Canadian seniors receiving the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) benefit with low-cost wireless service. Customers can get a free certified pre-owned Galaxy S22 on a 2-year term, bring their own device or take advantage of a $75 discount towards the online purchase of a refurbished smartphone or accessories through our retail partner,

Application information
- Receive the GIS benefit
- Can provide your Old Age Security statement, also known as the T4A (OAS), indicating any amount paid to you in box 21 (net supplements paid)
- To avoid application processing delays, please ensure that your name, address and contents of Box 21 are clearly visible. To protect your privacy, black out the first 5 digits of your SIN and OAS numbers. Please do not black out all the digits. Please note that Customer Identification Numbers cannot be accepted.
- Documentation will be used for eligibility validation and then deleted or shredded. TELUS will be recording your name, mailing address, email (if applicable) and last four digits of a unique identifier. Do not send the original copy of your document as it will not be returned to you.
- Individuals are encouraged to enlist the help of a friend, family member or case worker to apply on their behalf if necessary.
- We will review and respond to all applications within 1 week (response may be slower for mail in applications)
- If approved, you will be sent a code along with information on purchasing a discounted phone from Mobile Klinik (if required) and instructions on how to sign up for the plan. If you cannot find the confirmation email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk mail folder.
- We recommend that you secure a device prior to signing up for the wireless plan.
- If you have an existing contract with TELUS, you can still apply for this program. If approved, you will be migrated to the Mobility for Good plan.
Note: Any outstanding Device Balances, Bring-it-Back™ program amounts or TELUS Easy Payment® balances must be paid upfront before migrating to the Mobility for Good plan.
