As part of our Food, Beverage and Consumer Goods team, you’ll help our customers connect business processes and leverage data-driven technology for better visibility, agility and responsiveness. You’ll help develop our best practices for all development functions and work with our Global Product team to deliver applications and services across our business. In this role, will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing and generating manual and automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify and verify bugs, install applications and databases, and collaborate with the software design team.

To ensure success as a QA analyst, you should also have necessary coding skills to generate automation tests, a keen eye for detail, and excellent interpersonal skills. A skilled QA analyst must be able to design and write efficient test procedures and ensure quality for applications on Ignition platform.

Here's how:

• Meeting with the Product Owners, Business analysts and development team to discuss application requirements and implementation details.
• Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas.
• Sketching out ideas for software test procedures.
• Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
• Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications, creating test cases.
• Designing and installing software and databases.
• Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures.
• Identifying quality issues and creating test reports.
• Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults.

What you bring to this role

• Previous experience working in quality assurance testing
• An analytical mindset, and the ability to break down basic knowledge
• Experience with SQL essential , ideally on Android IOS & Windows. UI Testing, API testing good to have.
• Automation and manual testing experience
  
• Coding skills for automating test procedures and querying databases.
• Familiarity with programming script languages including C#.
• Experience in working with Agile development methodology and JIRA
• Strong attention to detail, with good written and verbal communication skills.
