Please note: If applying by mail, please include your full name, return address, and contact phone number. If you provide an email address, we can expedite our response to your application. You acknowledge that by submitting the aforementioned documents by mail or email, your application for the Internet for Good program may be submitted through TELUS’ web portal by an authorized TELUS team member. Your information will be protected and retained in accordance with TELUS’ Customer Privacy Commitment.

You can apply if you:

  • Receive the GIS benefit

  • Can provide your Old Age Security statement, also known as the T4A(OAS), indicating an amount paid to you in box 21 (net supplements paid)

What to expect after you apply

  • We will review and respond to all applications within 1 week (response may be slower for mail in applications)

  • If approved, you will be sent a code and instructions on how to sign up for the plan
