If you need to reprogram your remote, locate the [remote code for your TV](https://assets.ctfassets.net/9mt4r6ro1ay9/2sncVEYoWAwaE6WGOg2oKG/13d5dc24a620ec768379d80636316c28/Slimline_Remote_1_Extended_Code_List.pdf). Once you have a code, proceed to step 1.

  1. Press the **mode** button until the red **TV light** on your remote flashes 
  2. Press and hold the **Options** button for 3 seconds, until the **TV light** flashes twice 
  3. Enter the code from the **Remote code tool** for your television. The light will flash twice
  4. Press and hold the **Power** button. When your TV switches off, remove your finger from the button 
  5. Press **OK**. The red **TV light** will flash twice 
  6. Press the **Power** button again to switch your TV back on 
  7. Press the **mode** button until the green **OPTIK** light is illuminated at the top of your remote 
  8. Press the **TV power** button again to switch your TV back on 
  9. If you do not find a code that works for you try the following code: Press and hold mode until the TV or Aux light flashes twice
    - Enter the code __29__ for TV and your remote will search for a code that may work. __Note__: This may take up to 15 minutes. The TV or aux light will flash. Press okay and then the TV should be synced 
    - For DVD and blue ray enter __44__ 
    - For Amplifiers enter __79__

  1. Press the **Mode** button until the yellow **AUX** **light** on your remote flashes 
  2. Press and hold the **Options** button for 3 seconds, until the **AUX light** flashes twice

  4. Enter the code for your device brand. The **AUX** **light** will flash twice 
  5. Press and hold the **Power** button. When your device turns off, release the button 
  6. Press **OK**. The yellow **AUX light** will flash twice 
  7. Press the **Power** button again to turn on your device 
  8. Press the **Mode** button until the green **OPTIK light** at the top of your remote is lit

How to program the TV and AUX button

If you need to reprogram your remote, locate the remote code for your TV. Once you have a code, proceed to step 1.

1. Stand 6 to 8 feet away from the TV and ensure there is a line of sight between the remote and the digital box 
2. Ensure the digital box is on, and turn on the device you want to program the remote for. This could be your TV or an amplifier 
3. Set the volume of the digital box to __25__ by using the remote volume button before you program a TV or amplifier 
4. Press and hold the __Options__ button for 3 seconds, until the green LED next to the Optik power button on the remote control flashes twice 
5. Enter the 4-digit code for the brand of your device generated from the __Remote code tool__. The LED light beside the TV power button will flash twice in red when a TV code is entered; and will flash twice in yellow when an amplifier code is entered. If this fails to work, use the __Remote code tool__ to generate another code for your device brand and start again at step 1 
6. Press and hold the __TV power__ button until your TV switches off 
7. As soon as your TV switches off, remove your finger from the TV power button and press __OK__ to confirm. The red TV light will flash twice 
8. Press the __TV power__ button again to switch your TV back on 
9. If you do not find a code that works for you try the following code: Press and hold the Options button for 3 seconds, until the green LED next to the Optik power button on the remote control flashes twice 
10. Enter the code __0029__ for TV and your remote will search for a code that may work. __Note__: This may take up to 15 minutes. The TV or aux light will flash. Press okay and then the TV should be synced 
  - For DVD and blue ray enter __0044__ 
  - For Amplifiers enter __0079__

You can set up your digital box and TV to turn on with 1 button press. Press and hold the __Options__ button for 3 seconds, until the green LED on the remote control flashes twice 

Enter code __0007__ – the green LED will flash twice. The Optik power button will then turn on both your digital box and TV (and amplifier if programmed). To turn power sync off, enter code 0006 and the green LED will flash twice

How to program and set up your Slimline remote 2 for TELUS Business OPTIK TV or power sync your digital box

Optik TV-Slimline 2-Remote control-V2

If you need to reprogram your remote, use the user guide that came with your remote or use the download at the bottom of this page.

1. Turn on your television.
2. Press and hold the **TV** button, then press **OK**. When both are released, the buttons will flash 2 times.
3. Enter the **TV code** on the number pad. The **TV** button will flash 3 times.
4. Press **Power** and your television will now power off with your remote.

**Note**: If your TV does not turn off, repeat steps 3 to 5 with the next code that’s available for your TV. Repeat these steps until you have found the correct code and your TV powers off.

Program your Classic remote for Business Optik TV / Program the TV button

Synchronize your remote to power on your TV and digital box at the same time:

1. Turn on your television and TELUS Digital box 
2. Press and hold **TELUS/STB** ; and then press **OK**. When both are released, the buttons will flash 2 times 
3. Enter the code **977** on the number pad. The **TELUS/STB** button will flash twice 
4. Press **TELUS/STB** and then **TV** to link the 2 devices. The buttons will flash 2 times 
5. Press **Enter/Options**
6. Press **Power**. Your TV and Optik TV digital box will now power off with your new remote 

Your TV and Digital box are now synchronized on the remote.
