Frequently Asked Questions
Anyone with a prescription from a care provider licensed to practice in Canada* can use the TELUS Health Virtual Pharmacy platform. Faxed prescriptions must originate from the prescriber’s office.
Registering for an account takes only a few minutes. When you log in for the first time, we’ll ask you to complete your pharmacy profile and provide any health coverage details you have access to. You’ll then be able to book an appointment to speak with a pharmacist and to request the transfer of any existing prescriptions.
Give us a call at 1(877) 796-7979 and a member of our care team can help you get started.
There are three ways to get your prescriptions to us:
1. Ask your doctor to fax or e-prescribe your new prescriptions directly to us.

2. Request to transfer any of your existing prescriptions from another pharmacy. You can do this online or in the app with just a few taps.
3. Mail the paper version of your prescription to us if your doctor is unable to fax it.

In our experience, doctors generally do not charge to fax prescriptions. However, it is at the discretion of your doctor.
With your permission, our pharmacists will coordinate the transfer of all existing prescriptions from your current pharmacy. Once you have an account, you can request a transfer within the Virtual Pharmacy app or web portal.
