Modify Screening, Greeting & Hold Music
How to edit User Greeting, Connecting Message, Hold Music, Call Screening and Audio While Connecting settings.
Select Screening, Greeting & Hold Music
Select User Greeting > Select Enable
Otherwise, deselect the Enable checkbox to disable this feature instead, then go to Step 10
Select Edit
Select Set Greeting > Select the dropdown menu > Select Custom
Otherwise, select Default to use the TELUS Business Connect default greeting
Select your desired method to record and follow the Voice Manager instructions
To upload a .wav or .mp3 file, select Importing
Select Browse > Select the .mp3 or .wav file to upload
Note the following recommended audio formats:
CCITT uLaw (G711a), 8kHz, 8 bit, mono
PCM, 8kHz, 16 bit, mono
Select the Play button to preview the uploaded audio
Select the Re-record button to upload a different file > Select Done
Select Save
Select Screening, Greeting & Hold Music
Select Connection Message > Select Enable
Otherwise, deselect the Enable checkbox to disable this feature instead, then go to Step 10
Select Edit
Select Set Greeting > Select the dropdown menu > Select Custom
Otherwise, select Default to use the TELUS Business Connect default greeting

Note: If this feature is disabled, there will be silence while callers are waiting for the call to connect. It is highly suggested to leave this option enabled.
Select Screening, Greeting & Hold Music
Select Audio While Connecting > Select Enable
Otherwise, deselect the Enable checkbox to disable this feature instead, then go to Step 8
Select Edit
Select Set Audio > Select your preferred audio
If you selected Ring Tones: select Done, continue to Step 8
If you selected Music: select the Select Music dropdown box > Select your preferred audio > Select Done, continue to Step 8
If you selected Custom: continue to Step 5
Select Browse > Select the .mp3 or .wav file to upload
Note the following recommended audio formats:

PCM, 8kHz, 16 bit, mono
Use the Play button to preview the uploaded audio
Select the Re-record button to upload a different file
Select Done
