For the second year in a row, TELUS is Canada’s Most Respected Mobile Service Provider

TELUS once again ranks #1 in public poll for leadership in customer service and community giving in annual Canada’s Most Respected Awards

Vancouver, B.C. –  TELUS is proud to announce that for the second consecutive year, it has been named Canada’s Most Respected Mobile Service Provider, recognized for its reputation and leadership across customer service excellence, community giving, team culture, diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, as well as overall brand trust by the Canadian public. In a national survey, TELUS ranked first out of 13 other mobile service providers – Koodo, TELUS’ subsidiary brand, ranked second overall for this year’s award.

“Our team is incredibly honoured to once again receive this top recognition from Canada’s Most Respected for the second consecutive year. At TELUS, we are extremely passionate about putting our customers and communities first to earn their trust and loyalty and we’re proud to have the continued respect of our new and existing customers,” said Jim Senko, Executive Vice-president and President of Mobility Solutions, TELUS. “Providing Canadians with the best customer experience is an ongoing journey that requires listening, learning and understanding our customers’ growing mobility needs. Our team strives to deliver on a fast and reliable network that helps Canadians stay connected to the people and information that matter most.”

TELUS’ wireless and wireline networks have been serving Canadians with connectivity excellence, earning multiple accolades in respect to its global-leading networks. Earlier this year, TELUS was rated the fastest mobile network for the eighth consecutive time by UK-based Opensignal¹. TELUS’ wireless network also earned the title of North America’s Fastest Mobile Network and for the ninth consecutive time, it was named Canada’s Fastest Mobile Network from Seattle-based Ookla®². The organization has also accelerated investments in new technologies to further enhance its network reliability, resiliency and performance standards, ensuring customers in every community have a seamless, robust experience. In fact, as part of its $54 billion investment in infrastructure and operations through 2024, TELUS’ 5G network now reaches more than 70 per cent of the Canadian population – connecting customers in 744 urban and rural communities.

In keeping with TELUS’ commitment to putting our customers and communities first, TELUS is building stronger communities by supporting more than 4,000 charities and community organizations worldwide each year, giving back 5 per cent of our pre-tax profits and volunteering over 1.3 million hours annually. Most recently, TELUS and the TELUS Friendly Future Foundation® committed over $3.5 million to support the on-going relief efforts of Canadian charities working to provide assistance to families and those displaced by the Ukraine conflict

Canada’s Most Respected Mobile Service Provider Award is based on the results of a rigorous nationally representative public opinion poll of 3,694 Canadians, undertaken by Maru Public Opinion Research in February 2022.
