John has been involved in production agriculture throughout his life and he’s motivated enormously by helping others and improving outcomes through data science. Growing up in southeast Missouri, he spent his youth working in a family fuel business serving farmers. He graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Systems Management and Marketing. Today, John and his family remain actively involved on a production farm where they grow corn and soybeans, and tenant farm cotton and peanuts.
