QA Leader

SOFTRAX by TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods is seeking a QA Leader to join its development team. The QA Leader will manage a team of quality assurance engineers across all products of SOFTRAX and any future products that may arise.  The QA Leader will bring and maintain best practice QA processes to the team and manage the design and development of test plans and test automation, including unit, functional, performance and regression test for the SOFTRAX application suite. This person will work with other members of the team to develop reliable testing solutions using technologies and methodologies that can be utilized to promote automated regression testing.  The position will also include hands on work to further both the manual and automated regression suites across the products

This is hybrid role, open to MA, CT, NY, NJ, NH.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Creating a test plan
• Using the plan to assess functionality, performance, reliability, stability and compatibility with other systems
• Using the plan to hunt down and fix software bugs
• Looking for ways to prevent bugs from occurring in the first place
• Guarding against incorrect language usage, truncated text and incorrect formatting
• Ensuring the product is culturally compatible with the target market
• Developing and executing test automation processes and solutions.
• Testing and debugging applications as needed.
• Documentation and communication of test designs.
• Work with the development and SOA teams.

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).

• Communication with customers will also be required on a limited basis.

Degrees, Certificates and Experience

• BS in Computer Science or related degree
• Minimum of 5 years SQA experience
• Minimum of 2 years of SQA Leadership experience
• Experience with C#
• Experience testing Angular and NodeJS applications
• Experience with Test Automation tools -Nunit and Selenium, LoadRunner
• Experience with Jira a bonus
• Experience with PowerBuilder a plus
• Experience working with SCRUM teams
• Experience with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience in Financial/Billing applications (nice to have)
