Our Agriculture Sales team is transforming the way agricultural organizations optimize their operations, supply chains and business strategies — delivering innovative technology solutions that drive real, measurable results that support our customer success.
As our new Senior Account Manager, you'll build trusted partnerships with industry leaders, guiding them through complex solution landscapes in Agronomy, Program Execution, and Supply Chain while collaborating with a dedicated team of subject matter experts and coaches who support your success.
You'll gain visibility with TELUS' senior leadership teams, play a key role in shaping our overall strategy with major clients, and grow your expertise through professional development opportunities and sales certifications.

What You'll Do
- Prepare professional proposals and presentations targeted to key decision makers (senior managers and C-Suite executives) that clearly articulate TELUS' best-in-class solutions and demonstrate measurable value aligned with clients' core business objectives
- Negotiate contracts, close orders, and pursue new business opportunities with energy, determination, and a consultative approach that builds trust and long-term partnerships
- Effectively create, manage, and close a robust pipeline of opportunities using Salesforce, leveraging data-driven insights to forecast accurately and prioritize high-impact accounts
- Own customer relationships and account strategies across your territory, serving as the trusted advisor who understands each client's unique challenges and positions tailored solutions that drive their success
- Champion TELUS Agriculture and Consumer Goods solutions within customer organizations while advocating internally for client needs, ensuring seamless collaboration between your accounts and our subject matter experts
- Partner with an interdependent account team and internal coaches to develop deep expertise in Agronomy, Program Execution, and Supply Chain solutions, continuously expanding your knowledge of emerging technologies and market trends
- Provide strategic feedback to marketing and sales leadership regarding market opportunities, competitive insights, and client challenges to inform product development and go-to-market strategies
- Demonstrate key sales competencies including business acumen, critical thinking, customer focus, and grit — bringing energy, drive, and determination to every client interaction and sales opportunity
- Grow and maintain revenue within your territory while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities that expand TELUS' presence in the Agriculture and Consumer Goods market.
What You Bring
- 8 to 10 years of direct sales experience using formal sales methodologies, with a proven track record of success in complex solution selling environments
- Deep knowledge of the Agribusiness market, including familiarity with Agronomy, Program Execution, and Supply Chain solutions and emerging technology trends in the agriculture and consumer goods sectors
- Experience working with agricultural technology platforms, digital transformation initiatives, and supply chain management systems
- Demonstrated business and technical acumen — the ability to identify financially sound solutions, understand technology products and services, and communicate their value to senior-level decision makers
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients that align with TELUS' core values of putting customers first, embracing innovation, and growing together through collaboration
- Strong customer understanding and responsiveness, combined with analytical and critical thinking skills to prioritize opportunities, make fact-based decisions, and negotiate mutually beneficial resolutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex solutions to C-Suite and senior management audiences
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required for client meetings and territory management.

- Professional sales certifications or formal training in consultative or solution-based selling methodologies
- Established network or relationships within the Agriculture and Consumer Goods industry in the US and/or Canadian markets.
