Jorge Simroth, BSc, MSc, PhD
Dr. Jorge Simroth is an expert in Ruminant Nutrition, Animal Production, Cattle Management, Meat Science, Applied Research, and Economic Modeling. He earned his Ph.D. in Pathobiology from Kansas State University in 2018, a Master of Science in Ruminant Nutrition from West Texas A&M University in 2012, and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Nuevo Leon State University, Mexico, in 2006.
A native of Monterrey, Mexico, Dr. Simroth has extensive experience in the commercial feed industry. He has worked as an animal nutrition consultant, a Technical Services representative, and an independent consultant in Mexico and overseas. His roles have involved supporting and guiding multiple livestock enterprises in the areas of animal nutrition, welfare, and management.
Dr. Simroth became associated with TELUS Agriculture, formerly known as Feedlot Health Management Services, during the summer of 2018 as a Feedlot Nutrition and Production Consultant. His comprehensive expertise and international experience make him a valuable asset to the organization, contributing significantly to advancements in animal health and production.
