• As part of our Food, Beverage and Consumer Goods team, you’ll help our customers connect business processes and leverage data-driven technology for better visibility, agility and responsiveness. As a Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our platform that plugs into our TPM product and is used by other developers as well as clients. The primary technology is using SQL Server and Python.

Here’s How

• Responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality, ensuring the scalability, and availability of our platform'
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and functionality for the platform using SQL Server and Python.
• Work on backend services, APIs, and database integration using SQL Server.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of the platform by optimizing queries and database schema.
• Create automated tests and perform code reviews to maintain code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues and provide support to customers when necessary.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices related to SQL Server and Python development.
• Objectives for this role will be agreed with the Support Manager, and will include a blend of task delivery, input into Exceedra processes and personal development.

What you bring to this role

Qualifications/Knowledge / Skills

• Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of SQL Server Suite developer experience, version 2012+
• Experience working with Developer tools such as Azure DevOps, Visual Studio Team Server
• Strong experience in developing data ingestion, data processing and analytical pipelines for big data, relational databases, NoSQL and data warehouse solutions.
• Experience developing and deploying ETL solutions on Azure - Desirable
• Hands-on experience in Azure and Big Data technologies such as PowerShell, C#, Java, Node.js, Python, SQL, ADLS/Blob, Databricks - Desirable

• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
