What to expect after you apply
- We will review and respond to all applications within 1 week (response may be slower for mail in applications).
- If approved, you will be sent a code along with information on purchasing a discounted phone from Mobile Klinik (if required) and instructions on how to sign up for the plan. If you cannot find the confirmation email in your inbox, please check your spam or junk mail folder.
- We recommend that you secure a device prior to signing up for the wireless plan.
- If you have an existing contract with TELUS, you can still apply for this program. If approved, you will be migrated to the Mobility for Good plan.

Certified Pre-Owned devices are refurbished phones that have been thoroughly tested, inspected, and disinfected. They are then repackaged to look and function like new. Additionally, all Certified Pre-Owned devices come with a 1-year warranty from TELUS.

Physical cleaning and disinfecting: We carefully clean the entire surface of the device, camera lenses, and buttons.
Physical quality inspection: We ensure the refurbished device is free of major cosmetic defects.
Functional test: We make sure everything works as it is supposed to. We thoroughly test the device, including the camera, display, all buttons, audio and vibration components and the battery. During our refurbishment process, some components may be replaced using third party parts. These parts go through a 34 point inspection by a trained, professional technician and are covered by our warranty.
Network quality test: We test with a SIM card to ensure the device has full connectivity and can send and receive voice, text and data over a mobile network, and connect to Wi-Fi.
Full system and software restoration: We erase all previous data and perform a full factory reset, so your device is restored to its original state. We will also load the latest version of software available.
Re-packaging: Devices are packaged into a TELUS Certified Pre-owned box.
Yes. We will cover the costs to repair any manufacturer’s defects for 1 year. Please note that Certified Pre-owned devices are eligible for TELUS Device Care, but not for AppleCare+.
As part of TELUS' effort to reach our environmental goals, Certified Pre-Owned devices will no longer include a power adapter or charging cable. Please use your existing ones or leverage our Mobility for Good discount at

Internet for Good® provides thousands of low-income families in British Columbia, Alberta and some areas of Quebec with the tools and connectivity they need to succeed. Recipients must have children under the age of majority and be currently receiving the maximum Canada Child Benefit.

. To ensure that there are no gaps in service or bill increases, participants are encouraged to apply before their two year service anniversary. No. The Internet for Good price is only valid for the Internet for Good plan which includes speeds of up to 25 megabits per second (where available) and 300GB of monthly data7. Existing TELUS Internet customers who qualify for Internet for Good can migrate to this plan if they would like to take advantage of the $10 price point. Alternatively, eligible applicants can select Internet for Good with speeds of up to 50 megabits per second (where available) for $20/month or 150 megabits per second (where available) for $35/month. Both options include unlimited monthly data.
You can migrate to the Internet for Good plan if you would like. Early cancellation fees may apply if you received a Gift with Purchase and are still within the initial Service Agreement period. To learn more about any fees that you may be responsible for, please refer to your Service Agreement details which are available under the Profile section of your My TELUS account.
