Program overview
Welcome to the TELUS Refer a Business Program (the "Program").
1. The Referrer (defined below) and Referee (defined below) must accept these terms and conditions to participate in the Program.
2. TELUS may end the Program or change any of the terms at any time, without notice and without obligation to award any referral credits.
Definitions
3. For the purposes of these terms and conditions, "you" refers to all TELUS Business mobility customers participating in the Program.
4. In order to be eligible to participate in the Program as a referrer, you must be an existing TELUS Business mobility customer with an active account in good standing (“Referrer”).
5. "Referee" means the new small business customer who receives a referral by a Referrer in the context of the Program.
Program eligibility
6. The Program is applicable to small business account referrals only. A small business account is a business with under 100 employees. Both the Referrer and Referee must be a small business (1-100 employees) and present an HST/GST number (QST number in Quebec), registration number, incorporation number and/or other proof of business to be eligible to participate in the Program.
7. TELUS team members, contractors and sales representatives acting on TELUS' behalf and associates at retail locations who receive special pricing are not eligible to participate in this program. The Program is not available at authorized TELUS dealers, nor through consultants. The Program is not available to consumer or corporate accounts.
8. The Referee cannot be an existing TELUS Business mobility customer.
9. The final decision pertaining to the eligibility of the Referrer and Referee is at TELUS' sole discretion. TELUS has no obligation to contact the Referrer nor the Referee if TELUS concludes either is not eligible.
10. Connected accessories, including, but not limited to, smartwatches and tablets are excluded from the Program.
11. Referral credits are not available for referring existing customers who are renewing their service contract with TELUS.
12. Referees cannot accept more than one referral offer at a time as part of this Program.
Program enrolment
13. All Referrals must be submitted by the Referrer through telus.com/referabusiness.
Earning Credits
14. In order for the Referrer to qualify for a $100 referral bill credit, the Referee must be a new TELUS Business mobility customer who activated an eligible mobility rate plan within 180 days of submission of the eligible referral. The Referee must utilize the phone number provided with the referral when they activate service.
15. Referral rewards for the Program are limited to $1,000 per calendar year. Referrers may continue to submit referrals after reaching the annual referral cap.
16. Once a referral has been successfully verified, the reward process will begin. The Referrer will receive the referral bill credit within 4-6 weeks after the Referee successfully redeems the eligible referral, if applicable.
Privacy
17. Your privacy is important to TELUS. We collect your information to administer the Program, including processing referrals and determining reward eligibility. The purposes for which TELUS collects, uses, and discloses personal information, our security safeguards, and your privacy rights are set out in the TELUS Privacy Commitment at telus.com/privacy. These principles reflect our continuing commitment to protecting our customers' privacy.
18. By completing a referral, you consent to TELUS sharing with the person you referred the following information to enable them to track their referral reward eligibility: your first and last name. By sharing the Referee’s contact information, including the first name, last name, business name, email address and phone number, you represent and warrant that you have a personal, family, existing business or existing non-business relationship relationship with them and that you have obtained their consent to share their details with TELUS for the purposes of this Program.
Other details
19. TELUS assumes no responsibility for lost, delayed, damaged or misdirected referrals or communications or for any failure of the website, for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer online systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or referral to be received by TELUS on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to your (or any other person's) computer related to or resulting from this program. TELUS reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change, cancel or suspend this program should a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of TELUS, corrupt the security or proper administration of the program or for any other reason. Referrals are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, unintelligible, falsified, altered or tampered with or unlawful in any way. Referrals submitted by unauthorized means will be disqualified. In the event that TELUS determines that a referral has been made in a manner not sanctioned by these terms, or in an abusive or fraudulent manner, you and all of your referrals will be disqualified from this program and any referral credits that have been awarded will be deducted. You agree to abide by the terms of this program and the decisions of the TELUS team, which are final. This program is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
